Every Sunday UCLan graduate and creative writer Su Moffat runs a creative writing workshop in our meeting room in the back of the shop. All creative writers are welcome and it is free to take part but due to limited availability and to make sure there are no breaks head over to the Facebook group and let them know you’re thinking of coming along! ‘Spark’ a True Story Telling Club

Spark Preston is an open mic event where people tell true stories up on stage.

It runs on the last Friday of every month and you can keep up to date with the latest events on both the Ham and Jam Facebook page as well as the Facebook page of Spark.

Meditation Class

Monday’s can be tough, sometimes Tuesday’s can be even tougher so that’s why every Tuesday here at Ham & Jam we are host to a free meditation class. It starts at 12.30pm and last for thirty minutes so it’s a perfect lunch time escape right in the heart of the city centre.
